After taking a few thousand empty city wall photos, and all too many random Polaroids, I decided to step back a bit. So I've been carrying a 40-year-old rangefinder around with me for most of the last year, stealing images of my friends and surroundings instead of trying to be all art-school abstract all the time.
If I could draw, this would be my sketchbook. These photos are either the result of my trying to learn how to take portraits, my favorite snapshots of a time or place, a scene I shot one afternoon and forgot about, some late-night camera play at the bar, or just collections of random images I don't know what else to do with.
I figure it's probably time to let them out into the wild here since no one actually looks at prints anymore.
Enjoy...
Psst... thanks go to Simon for inspiring me to learn the rangefinder and to Jana for dropping by a cache of film that shifted me back to analog...
