Traveling Light

This is the road.  I’m on it again.  As Amber says: “Contentment is a veritable tranquilizer...”Tuk-Tuk, TempleThe next few months will find me wandering about Thailand and SE Asia with a few trusty cameras and very little in the way of plans.  I’m throwing up photographs in various places for anyone who wants to catch some glimpses.  I’ve begun posting updates about my Thailand project on the Kickstarter page.  Some of those posts will only be for people who’ve donated, but many will be open to the world.  I’ll be posting by theme, mostly as a collection of observations.  Follow along!

Some images from my European travels in November and December are now living in the Traveling Light section. There will be many more to come if/when the film I trusted to the sketchy Italian post finally makes it state-side.  Fingers crossed.

And I’ll be posting images in the photoblog as always.  I guess I’m too busy wandering to be focused and organized. So be it!

Thought for the day: “Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things - air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky - all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.” ~ Cesare Pavese
